Many people I work with may not follow a set routine of attending on specific days and times, or focus on an individual topic or theme. My approach provides the opportunity to feel seen, heard, valued and understood which can help alleviate that stress, provide support and explore all possibilities.
About me and my practice
I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and supervisor working with both individual adults and relationships.
My extensive training and experience, has enabled me to work with complex and diverse issues for which I intuitively provide warmth and openness in a protected professional relationship, while validating emotional influences for clients to explore, understand and process their thoughts, feelings, behaviours and choices.
I specialise in relationships, the loss of an infant or child of any age in addition to issues surrounding anxiety, bereavement, self esteem, well-being, childhood experiences, trauma and all forms of loss, especially when and how this impacts on daily life.
Experience
I am in private practice and have been a volunteer counsellor working with adult clients and providing peer-to-peer supervision for Wirral Mind since 2017
I am also a supervisor for face-to-face, online and telephone supervision.
My previous roles over 30 years have included coaching, mentoring and staff training for individuals, small and large groups in both private and voluntary sectors.
